St. Louis Street project hits halfway mark six months ahead of schedule in downtown Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The St. Louis Street project in downtown Mobile has reached its halfway mark and is six months ahead of schedule, Mayor Spiro Cheriogotis said.

The 17-block revitalization effort is now shifting to blocks eight and nine. The $16 million project covers roadway improvements, underground infrastructure, and lighting.
