MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — The Mobile City Council voted Tuesday to revoke the business license for All Weather Roofing as investigators continue building a criminal case against two home improvement companies accused of taking customers’ money without completing the work. The license for Window Depot of the Gulf Coast became inactive earlier this year. Both companies list 1172 West I-65 Service Road as their address. Public Safety Executive Director Curtis Graves said neither company can legally operate within the city.
“Revoking the license again is not not to be taken lightly whatsoever. But I think there’s no other option at this point, given what we’ve heard the past month and a half,” said Councilman Josh Woods.
Graves said, at last count, 108 customers had reported combined losses of more than $900,000 involving the two companies. State business records show Edward Fendley is the registered agent for All Weather Roofing, while his wife, Theresa Fendley, is the registered agent for Window Depot of the Gulf Coast…
