Several sea turtle nests submerged in water after Tropical Storm Bertha

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — The impact of Tropical Storm Bertha has left a devastating impact on the sea turtle nests along Alabama Gulf Coast beaches.

Dangerous rip currents lead to 22 rescues in Fort Morgan, 2 airlifted in critical condition

Photos revealed that most, if not all, of the sea turtle nests were submerged in water due to the storm.

Share the Beach told News 5 that despite the storm, they discovered at least two new nests. They also said they discovered turtle tracks high in the dunes, like they knew what to do to ensure their babies survived…
