Gulf Shores beach cleanup continues after Tropical Storm Betha

GULF SHORES, Ala. (WALA) – Cleanup along Baldwin County beaches continued Friday as city crews worked to move sand that Tropical Storm Betha pushed off the beach and into parking lots and green spaces.

City workers operated heavy equipment alongside beachgoers at the public beach Friday. Some beachfront parking remained closed at West Gulf Place, but most spaces had reopened after two days of cleanup.
