MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Mobile Police Department officers conducted a traffic enforcement operation on July 24, leading to 53 tickets being written and 18 warnings being issued.

According to an MPD news release, the Traffic Safety Unit conducted the operation in hopes of “improving roadway safety and to reduce dangerous driving behaviors that could result in serious injury or death.”
