DAPHNE, Ala. (WALA) – A third suspect is in custody following an animal cruelty investigation that led to the rescue of severely neglected dogs earlier this month, Daphne police said.
Nicholas Tyler Hanson, 29, surrendered at the Daphne Corrections facility on Wednesday on an active warrant for cruelty to animals.
Police identified Hanson as the final defendant in the Aug. 9 investigation on 6th Avenue, which previously resulted in the arrest of 22-year-old Sadie Crapps. Crapps was charged with two counts of animal cruelty and felony methamphetamine possession…
