From Bingo to Ballads, Slithers to Summer Send Offs–The Coast Is Still Showing up and Showing Off!

The calendar may be turning a page, but that doesn’t slow the Gulf Coast down—there’s still sunshine, live music, local flavor, a few scaly surprises, and plenty of fun to be had.

Orange Beach, Ala. — (OBA) — If you thought just because we’re halfway through August that these coastal towns might begin slowing down, think again! This week offers a bit of everything–from relaxed bingo and local tunes to sensational snakes, downtown adventures that impress and save, plus a nostalgic night under the stars with Goo Goo Dolls. Add waterfront dining, more live music, marina strolls, football, cook-offs, shopping, and a Sunday at Lulu’s, and it’s clear the coast didn’t get the memo that summer is winding down. So, grab your calendar, your crew, and maybe some sunscreen (August is HOTT!) because plenty of fun is still making its way across the Alabama Gulf Coast.

Monday, August 17th- Looking for something fun and engaging, but also a little relaxing for midday into early afternoon? Join others for a laid-back, slightly competitive free bingo afternoon at the tent stage at Flora-Bama this Monday, or any Monday through Friday from 1 to 4 PM. This event encourages community spirit, friendly competition, prizes, and of course, lots of laughs. You can sit back with a cocktail in hand, enjoy a meal, or simply play a few rounds of bingo. The Gulf Coast has plenty to offer to fill your day no matter what time it is. Good luck!…
