Mobile’s Labor Day parade brings union workers, families downtown

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Mobile’s Labor Day parade returned downtown Monday morning, bringing union workers, their families and the community together.

The Southwest Alabama Labor Council hosted the annual parade, which started on South Lawrence Street and traveled downtown. The event gave people the chance to say hello and thank you to transit workers, electricians, carpenters and other workers who keep the city going.
