MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A beloved Mobile veteran has died.

Anthony “Tony” Naman died Saturday, according to a Facebook post from his son Alec.

People may remember Naman from a story WKRG did not long ago when he was honored by being given a quilt of valor alongside his brother Louis.

He was born to George and Helen Naman, Lebanese immigrants who moved to Mobile in the early 1900s. He was one of 11 children, with five sisters and five brothers. All the Naman boys served in the military…
