MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — What began as a kind gesture turned into theft after a man offering someone a ride was carjacked.
According to a Mobile Police Department news release, officers were called to the area of Race Track Lane and Bay Avenue Sunday, Sept. 27, just before noon for a reported carjacking.
