MOBILE, Ala. — A 43-year-old man was killed following an early morning parking lot altercation outside a local lounge, and Mobile police have taken a 29-year-old suspect into custody in connection with the homicide, authorities announced.
The Mobile Police Department identified the victim as Brandon Shute, 43. The suspect, identified as DelJuan Thomas, 29, was located shortly after the shooting and booked into Metro Jail.
Parking Lot Altercation Leads to Fatal Shooting
At approximately 2:08 a.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2026, Mobile police officers responded to reports of a shooting at Poinse’s Lounge, located at 1441 Navco Road.
