MONROE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A man is dead and other people are injured following a Monday morning crash in Monroe County.

Mobile bicyclist suffering life-threatening injuries after hit-and-run

According to an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency news release, the crash happened just before 11:30 a.m. Oct. 5 on Alabama 21 near Black’s Loop Road, about 1 mile south of Beatrice.

Ricky J. York, 68, of Evergreen, was critically injured when the 2011 Mazda 3 he was a passenger in collided head-on with a 2016 Ford F-150 truck driven by an Elberta man, the release said…
