USA Health and UnitedHealthcare have agreed to a 30-day extension of their contract talks, and UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage members stay in network at the system’s Mobile, Alabama hospitals only through November 1, 2026. Without a new agreement, University Hospital and Children’s & Women’s Hospital would be out of network for those members starting that date.
No deal has been announced. USA Health’s page for UnitedHealthcare members still says negotiations are ongoing.
