Neighbors question city officials about Rickarby Park safety

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – Neighbors shared concerns during a public safety forum at the community center Monday night.

The meeting comes after two incidents. The first happened in July when a woman was shot in the head and survived. The next happened last month when gunfire hit a home and multiple vehicles.

Several city representatives attended, including Mobile Mayor Spiro Cheriogotis, Mobile Police Chief William Jackson, Executive Director of Public Safety Curtis Graves and City Councilwoman Samantha Ingram. Each stressed safety is their top priority.
