SPANISH FORT, Ala. (WALA) – Spanish Fort Police are warning women shoppers to keep a close eye on their purses while in the store. This comes after a bold theft inside Publix over the weekend. Police said an organized group of thieves lifted a wallet out of their victim’s purse while she was shopping, and they said this isn’t the first time it’s happened.
