Loxley shooting victim in critical condition: Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Gunfire between two people left one of them injured, according to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.

Tuesday, around 8:30 p.m., Loxley police officers and Baldwin County sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of gunshots on the 13000 block of Highway 90.

The Baldwin County Major Crimes Unit also responded to investigate this incident.

“Investigators worked through the night, and they are continuing to follow leads this
morning,” a BCSO news release said. “Our preliminary investigation has revealed that there was an exchange of gunfire between the victim … and the suspect.

“The victim was shot during the incident. He was taken to a local hospital, where he remains in
critical condition.”
