FOLEY, Ala. (WALA) – The weather didn’t stop people in Baldwin County from packing Heritage Park in Foley for the Gumbo and Alabama Slammer Festival. The event featured a variety of gumbo dishes made by local chefs and vendors. There was also live music, fine arts and crafts, free bushwhacker samples, fun contests, a kids’ zone, petting zoo and more family friendly activities.
