LOXLEY, Ala. (WALA) – The man who was struck by gunfire in Loxley last week has died at an area hospital, according to the Baldwin County Major Crimes Unit. It was Tuesday last week when officers with the Loxley Police Department and deputies with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of gunshots at a residence in the 13000 block of Highway 90 in Loxley. Authorities determined there was an exchange of gunfire and that Stanley Koenig Sr. was shot during the incident and had suffered life-threatening injuries.
