Veterinarians send letter to Mayor & City Council after horse collapse

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) – The debate over the horses used in Mardi Gras parades continues as local veterinarians sent a letter to Mayor Sandy Stimpson and the city council. The owners of First Equine Veterinary Services say the letter addresses the situation during the 2024 Conde Cavalier parade where “a horse fell and was beaten to rise.”
