The Haven’s Annual Mystics Mutts of Revelry is ready to roll Fairhope Saturday

FAIRHOPE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Who doesn’t love dogs dressed up? Well, there will be plenty of them walking and riding in the annual Mystic Mutts Revelry parade on Saturday in downtown Fairhope.

A parade to raise money and awareness for The Haven No-Kill Animal Shelter.

Mystic Mutts of Revelry Chairperson Shannon Hesse said their main goal is to find homes for as many pets as they can.

“We have so many homeless animals, and there are so many ways people can help,” Hesse said. “And if they can’t adopt, they can foster. And if they can’t foster, they can donate.”

The parade will be made up of walkers with their pets dressed to the T in tropical clothing as the theme this year is Paws and Parrotheads in memory of Jimmy Buffett.

McSharry’s Irish Pub in Fairhope sponsors the Mystic Mutts of Revelry, Ronan Mcsharry told News 5 he is thrilled to be a part of it.
