Victim’s family angry about plea deal offered in Mobile murder case

MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) – The father of a murder victim says he is outraged over a plea deal prosecutors made with the suspect in his son’s case. Harold Jordan III was shot and killed in 2021. Jacorius McDonald, who was also 17 at the time of the shooting, is charged with his murder. According to Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood, McDonald has agreed to serve 10 years for the crime, but the victim’s father says that’s not enough time behind bars.
