MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A member of the Mobile Mystics and his wife shared a special moment during the parade Saturday, with a gender reveal that enhanced the festivities.

In a video shared with WKRG News 5, some Mobile Mystics members are seen on a float with confetti poppers.
After a few seconds, those members pulled the poppers, and pink smoke and confetti filled the air, indicating the baby’s gender.
Parade-goers and society members alike jumped and screamed in excitement.

The members — whose identities are kept secret, according to most Mardi Gras organizations’ tradition — pulled the poppers in front of the Renaissance on Royal Street.
