Girlfriend accused of setting up ambush of Mobile man accepts plea bargain

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – A woman accused of setting up her boyfriend in a fatal ambush in 2021 admitted to a lesser charge Wednesday as part of a plea bargain. Selena Grace Tisdale, 22, of Semmes, pleaded guilty to third-degree robbery, and Mobile County Circuit Judge Michael Youngpeter agreed to the recommended sentence – 10 years in prison with all but 18 months suspended. Tisdale will get credit for the time she has been in jail and will be supervised by the Mobile Community Corrections program for 18 months following her prison term.
