MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A woman was treated for a gunshot wound Wednesday after accidentally shooting herself.
A news release from the Mobile Police Department said officers responded to Fire Station 28 on Old Military Road just after 3 p.m. They had received a report that a person had arrived at the fire station with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The female victim was taken to the hospital where officers determined she had been injured after accidentally shooting herself.
