Crash in Conecuh County kills woman from Satsuma

CONECUH COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A crash in Conecuh County kills a woman from Satsuma late Saturday afternoon. A news release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says a Toyota Rav4 driven by 23-year-old Victoria Lowry left the road and hit a tree just before 5 pm Saturday.

The news release says Lowry wasn’t wearing a seatbelt, the crash threw her from the vehicle and she died at the scene. The crash happened on Alabama State Route 41 near the 30-mile marker, about three miles north of Repton, in Conecuh County. Troopers say they have no further details as they continue to investigate the incident.
