MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — The Mobile Police Department is investigating a Thursday morning shooting that left one person injured on the West I-65 Service Road North at Dauphin Street.

Mobile police officers responded to a reported shooting around 11:20 a.m. Thursday at the intersection.
SHOOTING LOCATION:
When they arrived, officers learned an unknown male was driving a white sedan when he allegedly fired shots at the victim’s vehicle.
The victim was grazed by gunfire, but their injuries were not serious.
The gunfire also “caused minor damage” to the victim’s vehicle, an MPD spokesperson said.
The victim drove to another location before notifying police of the shooting, officials said.
