Woman arrested after stealing items from Walmart twice: Mobile Police

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A woman was arrested Thursday after she was allegedly caught stealing for the second time in a week, according to a news release from the Mobile Police Department.

32-year-old Marilyn Elaine Rivers was arrested Thursday on a retail theft charge.

The release said officers were called to the Walmart on the E. I-65 Service Road for a report of a retail theft.

INCIDENT LOCATION:

A loss prevention officer had stopped Rivers before MPD officers arrived at the store, according to the release.

Officers said they found that Rivers had not paid for items when using the self-checkout.

The release said Rivers was also accused of taking items from the store on April 27.
