MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — The Mobile Police Department is investigating after Ring surveillance camera caught an unknown suspect throwing a wrench toward a home.

According to an MPD spokesperson, this is the second reported incident of someone throwing an object at the same home.
Initially, police responded to reports of an unknown suspect throwing a tire iron through a window at a residence in the Crestview neighborhood. Police said the problem was, “At the time, there were no cameras installed to document what occurred.”

Following that incident, homeowners installed ring surveillance cameras.
MPD notes that the cameras worked as they caught a similar incident: an unknown suspect throwing a wrench toward the home, shattering the glass front door.
The suspect is described by authorities as “wearing a hat, a dark-colored shirt and khaki shorts.” Police added, “He is also observed on camera leaving an object on the front porch which read ‘Respect All, Fear None.’”
