MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — The Mobile Police Department says a body was found Thursday afternoon on Northbound Interstate 65.
A Mobile Police spokesperson said officers responded to a reported body found near the median on Northbound I-65 between Interstate 10 and Government Boulevard.
On the scene, officers found a male dead on the roadway.

MPD is investigating the cause of death.
The victim’s name has not been released. It will be released once the family is notified.
