Contestants said they’ve been working hard and are proud to represent their states on a national stage. DeAsia Jones will represent not only the state of Alabama but specifically the Port City.

“I will be doing my talent tonight,” Jones said. “It is a jazz dance that I choreographed myself to ‘Proud Mary’ by Tina Turner, and it is a crowd favorite, I must say. So I’m just so excited to get the crowd moving and grooving and just have a good time doing what I love.”

“We have been going nonstop from about 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. every single day for two weeks now, but it has been so fun,” Madison Book, who is representing the state of Louisiana, said. “It’s really brought me out of my shell, and it’s given me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and learn about different cultures and states and experiences, and I’m so grateful for that.”
