Second gas station robbed on same night, Mobile police say

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Mobile Police are investigating a second Monday night robbery of a gas station.

According to an MPD press release, officers responded to the Chevron located at 3365 Moffett Road in reference to an armed robbery.

Police say the incident that happened around 9:39 p.m. on Monday, July 1, was the second armed robbery of a gas station that night, coming nearly an hour after the armed robbery at the BP at 5473 Old Shell Road.

When police arrived, they discovered that the suspect demanded money from the cashier before leaving the area.
