Mobile, Chickasaw men sentenced in murder of Antonio Rowe Jr.

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Mobile County Circuit Court Judge sentenced the co-defendants in the 2020 murder of Antonio Rowe Jr. , according to the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office.

A Mobile County Jury found 28-year-old George Braxter Green Jr. of Chickasaw guilty of murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle on May 24 .

Judge Michael A. Youngpeter sentenced Green to 30 years in prison for murder and 20 years in prison for shooting into an occupied vehicle. Youngpeter ordered the sentences to be served concurrently.

25-year-old Nathaniel Leverne Henderson Jr. of Mobile was found guilty of Rowe’s murder on May 22.

According to prosecutors, Henderson was driving the “getaway car” immediately following the crime.

Youngpeter sentenced Henderson to 20 years and one day in prison, according to the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office.
