MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Paige Madden and the United States Women’s 4x200M Freestyle Relay team earned the silver medal on Thursday night in Paris.
The Mobile native and UMS-Wright Preparatory School alumnus was the second swimmer in the lineup for the United States.
The team finished second, earning a silver medal to Australia’s gold by less than 2 seconds.
The silver medal is Madden’s second overall medal in her Olympic career as she earned a silver medal in the same event at the Tokyo Games in 2020.
