MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) – The Mobile Police Department is investigating a homicide at Stone Ridge Apartments on Somerby Drive in Mobile. Officers responded to the complex Saturday morning and found a man dead from a gunshot wound inside an apartment. Police identified the victim as 25-year-old Jermaine Thomas. Investigators say the man forced his way into the apartment to confront someone he knew, and someone else inside the apartment shot him.
