Mobile Police event to feature free food, vendors

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — The Mobile Police Department will host an event to boost police-community partnerships.

National Night Out is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 6. According to a department spokesperson, the event will be held in the parking lot between the precinct and Piggly Wiggly (2601 Dauphin Island Parkway Suite D).

The department said the event will feature free food and drinks for attendees (hamburgers, soda, and water), and vendors.
