2 people shoot at each other on Rangeline Road, 1 arrested: Mobile Police

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A man was arrested after he shot at another person and, in return, they shot back, according to the Mobile Police Department.

According to MPD officials, officers were called to Lenox Gates Apartments for a report of disorderly conduct around 6 a.m. Thursday.

UPDATE: Robertsdale teacher placed on administrative leave after arrest

When officers arrived, they found that a man, now identified as 19-year-old Markell Durrell Moore, had shot at another person’s vehicle near the 5100 block of Rangeline Service Road, according to officials.

Officials said the other person then fired shots toward Moore’s vehicle.

Both people left the area, but Moore’s vehicle was later found parked near Government Boulevard and I-65, according to MPD.

UPDATE: Robertsdale teacher placed on administrative leave after arrest

Moore was arrested and charged with three counts of discharging a gun into an occupied vehicle.
