Holy Cow! Cows on the loose for 24 hours in West Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A group of five cows and one bull went on quite the adventure in West Mobile Sunday evening.

The owner of the animals, Nasry Saybe, said they were cleaning the field when around 6 p.m. he noticed they were missing.

“I was just like where’s the cows at? Where’s the cows and the bull?” Saybe said.

That’s when the Saybe farm adventure began as they mounted their horses and started to look for the cows. They eventually called it a night to wait for sunlight once their search into the woods became dangerous.

“Around 9:30 we called it a night after we had some shots fired at us,” Saybe said.

Around 12:30 a.m. Monday, Lisa Kennedy said her security cameras started going off, and her family noticed police cars outside of their home. At first, she thought someone dangerous was outside, but when she learned it was just cows, she said her family went back to sleep.
