5. Latest Inflation Report

According to the latest inflation report from the Labor Department, in July, inflation was below 3%.

Grocery prices were up 1% last month along with gas being down 41 cents from the last summer. Back-to-school items are also a bit cheaper.

Although these prices have gone down, the cost of car insurance has jumped to 18%, and rent prices are up 5.1%.

4. Foley Sidewalk Extension

Pedestrians in the city of Foley will soon be able to access more places safely, as the first phase of a project to extend sidewalks was approved.
