Third suspect accused of murder in deadly Grand Bay shooting

GRAND BAY, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A third suspect has been arrested in connection with a deadly Grand Bay shooting , according to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.

28-year-old Brittany Viniece Mentor of Moss Point, Mississippi, is accused of murder and attempted murder in connection with a shooting that killed Horace Eugene Sellers and injured a female.

According to an MCSO news release, detectives determined Mentor was a willing participant with Jesse Brown and Thomas Marshall in the deadly shooting on Aug. 7.

MCSO said Mentor was in the same vehicle as Brown and Marshall when the shooting occurred, and the firearm used in the shooting belonged to her.

Mentor confessed to providing and hiding the firearm when interviewed by MCSO detectives.
