Over 900 acres of farmland are being transformed into commercial property that will eventually house businesses that will accommodate the explosive growth of the region.

“You can’t fight the growth and we’re just in a changing market and it’s changed for the best,” Loxley Mayor Richard Teal said.

The new construction will be the closest and largest industrial space to the Port of Mobile.

The construction of the development will be done in three phases. Officials said construction for the first phase is set to be complete by the third quarter of 2025.
