Charleston Apartment Homes murder suspect denied bond: Court documents

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A woman accused of killing her boyfriend Thursday at a Mobile apartment complex has been denied bond, according to court documents.

31-year-old Jennifer Nicole Heathcoe was arrested for the murder of 33-year-old Taylor Rawlins at Charleston Apartment Homes.

“Upon arrival, officers observed a male victim deceased inside of the apartment unit,” a Mobile Police Department news release said.

“Upon further investigation, officers discovered the victim was cut by a knife during an altercation with a known subject.”

Heathcoe is set for arraignment on Aug. 28.

MPD has said that the deadly stabbing in West Mobile was domestic-related.

“It’s tragic for both sides, for the victim and the subject’s family,” MPD Public Information Officer Blake Brown, said.
