Mobile police arrest man accused of cutting another man at a bar

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A Mobile man was arrested on Saturday, Aug. 24, after he allegedly cut another man at a bar on Friday, according to the Mobile Police Department.

An MPD news release said 51-year-old Jessie Lee Jemison was arrested after the incident, which happened around 10:40 p.m. on Aug. 23 at Brown’s Lounge.

Officials said by the time their officers arrived at the scene, the victim had driven himself to the hospital.

Officers also found that Jemison fired two shots into the air while leaving the area.

Jemison was charged with second-degree assault.
