Mobile business struck by gunfire, police investigating

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — The Mobile Police Department is investigating after a business was struck by gunfire Tuesday morning.

According to an MPD press release, officers were called to a personal trainer business located at the 1100 block of Dawes Road at around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27, for a report of shots fired.

INCIDENT LOCATION:

When officers arrived, they said they found the business was struck by gunfire. Further investigations revealed the building was struck as a female driver fired a shot from her vehicle toward two people in another vehicle.

Police said no one was injured in the incident. Mobile Police are investigating the shooting.
