MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — An investigation is ongoing after a woman had to be treated for injuries related to a domestic dispute, according to the Mobile Police Department.
The department said in a press release that the investigation began when officers were called to the 2700 block of Pleasant Valley Road on Wednesday, Aug. 28, at around 5 p.m. after receiving reports of a domestic incident.
INCIDENT LOCATION:
Officers said that when they arrived at the scene they found a woman with minor injuries after she was choked and cut by a known male suspect. The man allegedly left the scene after stealing the victim’s property, according to the release.

The victim was reportedly treated on the scene by the Mobile Fire Rescue Department.
MPD said they are continuing to investigate the incident.
