MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Police are investigating after a home near the Jackson Heights community was struck by gunfire on Thursday, News 5 has learned.
According to the Mobile Police Department, officers responded to the 4100 block of Yorkshire Lane at around 8:46 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29, for reports of shots fired.

When police arrived, they found that gunfire had hit a home. There were no injuries reported in the shooting.
MPD said this is an ongoing investigation.
