MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Congratulations to the Mobile Christian School, The Spirit of Mobile Christian Marching Band, for winning JBT Power Band of the Week for week 1 of 5th Quarter!
The Spirit of Mobile Christian Marching Band is led by the drum major, Bosco Ni, and band director, Robbin Holder.
The band consists of 46 members and has won multiple awards in the past year.
Reese’s Senior Bowl Coach of the Week: Cris Bell, Robertsdale
Last season, the band received all superior ratings at the Azalea City Marching Festival at MGM High School and the A Town Invitational Marching Competition at Andalusia High School. The color guard and band also received the overall “Best in Class” awards at the A Town Invitational.
The band traveled to Washington DC last spring and performed at the WWII Memorial. The Mobile Christian School band will travel to Orlando this spring to perform at Walt Disney World.
The Spirit of Mobile Christian Marching Band will be competing at the A Town Invitational in Andalusia and the Eastern Shore Classic at Daphne High School this fall.
