The “iconic” Fairhope Municipal Pier and Park quickly turned into a construction zone this past week. But the mayor is quick to confirm that the pier will not close. Simply put, it would be bad police in a city where the pier and it’s adjacent park is coveted for nighttime sunsets and fireworks during the Fourth of July.
