Mobile officials say there’s plenty of job opportunities in the city, despite a recent New York Times report showing job losses in the county. “There are many good jobs available in Mobile, and more are on the way,” Mobile Mayor Sandy Stimpson said in an email. “We are working hard to support workforce development so that Mobilians are ready to step into those roles and continue driving this region’s economic growth.”
