MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — Two women were arrested after they fled from a traffic stop, according to the Mobile Police Department.

MPD identified the two as 28-year-old Jada McAfee and 18-year-old Aubrey Sikes.

According to an MPD press release, McAfee and Sikes were arrested around 1:25 a.m. Sept. 4, after police attempted to stop their vehicle for a traffic violation.

McAfee, who was driving, allegedly did not pull over and instead sped off.

“Following a short pursuit, the vehicle stopped at the Alabama State Docks and a passenger exited on foot,” an MPD news release said.

Both McAfee and Sikes were taken to Mobile Metro Jail, the release said.
