Mobile man accused of removing AC units from apartment complex

MOBILE, Ala. ( WKRG ) — A Mobile man was arrested after he allegedly removed several outside AC units from a local apartment complex.

That man was identified by the Mobile Police Department as 44-year-old Nathaniel McClain.

According to the MPD, McClain was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 5 after police responded to the Barrington Park Apartments (442 Cottage Hill Road) in reference to a male suspect unlawfully removing 16 outside AC units from the complex.

INCIDENT LOCATION:

Police said they arrived and identified the suspect as McClain, who was still on the apartment property.

McClain was taken to the Mobile Metro Jail and charged with first-degree theft of property.
